Because of my growing interest in the upcoming phenomenon `marketing` I
was eager to study Marketing. Mr.
N.J.W. Dix, founder of H & S (`Hout` & `Staal` =
wood & steal) International bv in St. Michielsgestel, the
international sales organization of Trappenfabriek Hoograven B.V., offered me the opportunity to increase my experience in the field of international business and to study Marketing.
Nico Dix gave me huge opportunities - gaining my drivers`
licence (!) too- to complete studies such as Marketing Management, General
Management & Business Economics.
So I started as a Marketing Assistant, then I became Marketing
Manager and at the age of 25 I was Managing Director of H
& S International GmbH in Germany.
In general I was responsible for developing, increasing and finalising the
distribution & sales networks in several European countries for H
& S (do-it-yourself) staircases in Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany,
Austria, France and Switzerland.
