Fortunately, I survived two severe sky dive accidents on the isle of Texel, a long time ago, but unfortunately I became disabled . With a reconstructed shoulder, a restored back, a metal ankle and since 2007 two heavy metal hips (Birmingham Hip Resurfacing) I am still longing for the ever challenging sky. With pilot Ulrich Lang`s hangglider, called `Eagle` (one of my personal totems), I had a trip as co-pilot above Peninsula de Nicoya in Costa Rica in general and above my favourite country estate (and `flagship of the Forest Returns fleet`) Hacienda la Esperanza in particular.
