`Never change a winning formula`. For that reason my associate, co-supervisor of the `Hunting Table` of De Industrieele Groote Club in Amsterdam, Consul of Forest Returns and last but not least my hunting mate Koos van der Wal and I organised a special event. In our cosy `bosherberg Bosschuur d`Ouwe Kamp`. Location: Austerlitz in the real green heart of Holland, surrounded by 2.500 hectares of country estates and forests. Koos and I welcomed a growing number of enthousiastic people: dedicated members of De Industrieele Groote Club and their special guests. We both presented some hunting stories, sometimes in Hunting Latin as well (smile). The impressive and breathtaking movie `Jagdpassion` of Frans "Buller" Marcher was shown behind closed doors. The life hunting music came from our regular team of hornplayers `Betoeterd` under leadership of Reinout de Jong. Thanks to Slagerij Noordam in Austerlitz everybody was very happy with the special game buffet in the `Consul Kamer` of our host Forest Returns, the country estate company that was founded in 1988. Fortunately `weidelijke jagers` Koos van der Wal, Willem Verhagen and I had shot together some hares in Zeeland . You can also see some pictures of this hunting event in Philipsland/Zeeland in this album . So our guests could taste the real thing: pure meat from our own Dutch hunting fields. With pleasure as we were told afterwards in the middle of that special night. Surounded by owls in the woods, hunting for mice. Never a dull moment in Bosschuur d`Ouwe Kamp in Austerlitz...
