The first Surinam sustainable and multifunctional country estate `Landgoed Groot Mariënbosch` has increased to 823 hectares. Initiators Forest Returns bv and 100 % Zomer bv are both very eager to transform this huge territory into a multifunctional and sustainable country estate, using all seven clusters of activities within their so called `Papatya-vision & mission. Now Marije and I are preparing the integral business plan and the individual business plans per segment of activities for `Landgoed Groot Mariënbosch`, located 43 minutes from Paramaribo in District Commewijne in the New Surinam. Some aerial photo`s (Eagle View; like the `harpij arend` within our logo) have been made as a basis for further investigations and research, in particular from geophysical, vegetative and water management point of view, to be discussed with our team of experts in Surinam... These photo`s were taken by ir. Pieter Teunissen, ir. Dirk Noordam and ir. Philip Dikland from a Cessna 172, flying climate neutral thanks to main investor Forest Returns by planting new trees in Costa Rica on her `flagship Hacienda la Esperanza` thus compensating the CO2-emission during this photography flight in Surinam...
