Photography » Meeting with Reg. Accountant Jorge E. Bonilla Ramirez
Today I had a fertile meeting with our Costarican registered accountant Jorge E. Bonilla Ramirez in Room 301 of Gran Hotel Costa Rica on Plaza Cultura. As mentioned in his reports: `Contador; Colegiado No. 10421; Timbre de Ley No. 6685`. Jorge showed me the financial report of La Esperanza Int. de Heredia S.A., dated 30 April 2009, focusing on the 394 hectares of the original Hacienda la Esperanza. As I reported in 2008 a share emission took place in Holland to integrate all lands bought by Vereenigde Costaricaanse Compagnie bv, besides the original 394 hectares as mentioned above. Grand total at this moment: 1.114 hectares.
The two main share-holders of Vereenigde Costaricaanse Compagnie bv are the two founders:
- mr. Jan Kluft, having 10.704 shares = 34 %
- Forest Returns bv, having 9.090 shares = 29 %
As of 31 December 2008 the value of all assets increased to more than US $ 25.000.000 with following specification:
- A. US $ 21.393.580; Lands (1.114 hectares in all)
- B. US $ 2.923.751; Plantation trees
- C. US $ 557.500; Buildings
- D. US $ 143.610; Means of transport
- E. US $ 40.700; Furniture & Equipment
- F. US $ 35.954; Lifestock
- G. US $ 166.000; Works in progress
- H. US $ 25.261.095; ASSETS IN ALL
Pictures say more than a thousand words. So look and see some
`Eagle Views` of this luring paradise called Hacienda la Esperanza.
Tonight Jorge and I will have our next meeting in Gran Hotel Costa Rica to discuss the revalued price for lands on Peninsula de Nicoya. Jorge is very familiar with this promising part of Costa Rica as his accountancy company Arana Bonilla Consultores is working for many clients on Peninsula de Nicoya. We will further discuss the huge `interest in Nicoya` by a growing group of American celibrities such as Mel Gibson (who paid $ 25.000.000 for 165 hectares, as I was told...), Bill (and Melinda ?) Gates and others for the luring area between Tamarinde and Tambor.
The next days we will discuss with our estate surveyors the positive effect of
Blue Zone No 1. -thanks to the reports by Dan Buetner (National Geographic)- and the increasing price for pure water.
`Business is people`s business.` For that reason I was happy to meet Jorge`s wife and son outside Gran Hotel Costa Rica as these pictures show.
To be continued on Hacienda la Esperanza on next Monday, 8 June...
