Photography » `Peperpot`, original slates & freemasonry
Since I am interested in Surinam history & culture and in freemasonry , I was eager to visit the former plantation `Peperpot `on the `Suriname Rivier`. My associate drs. Marije van Zomeren and I were invited by two members of the `Peperpot Foundation`, Alan Thijsseling of the successful Restaurant Dok 204 and the well-known architect ir. Philip Dikland. With our travel companions Caroline Tasseron & her husband Johan van Toll (Forest Returns Consul and cineast of our Forest Returns movie `Switi Sranan`) and my brother-freemason drs. Henk Essed, Marije and I made this special trip. I was impressed by the special atmosphere I experienced, so close to Paramaribo. If interested read more about it in "Publications".
