Paracentrum Texel
Paracentrum Texel; as a member of the management team of Euro-Fashions BV I was responsible for the marketing of Cruyff Sports (the brand of the famous soccer player Johann Cruijff) ; then I came in close contact with Ing. Bob Rienks, founder of Paracentrum Texel. After starting as a marketing resultancy entrepreneur through TOPAZ, I took over the presidency of Ing. Bob Rienks of Paracentrum Texel, Tesselair and IsolaQuip.
After receiving my first parachute jumping licence (`in de ban van de wing`) at "Korps Commandotroepen" in Roosendaal, The Netherlands, at the age of 19 years, I took up parachute jumping again at the age of 42 years. I followed the so-called Accelerated Free Fall Course (AFF) (originally developed as a special NASA-sky dive training for astronauts) and received my sky dive licence.
However, my last two sky dives were almost fatal. I became disabled for the rest of my life. But I am still alive. Sky diving is the most exciting sport I ever experienced.
