Wednesday 31 December 2008 - After three intensive years of fertile coorporation, Dutchman Theo de Wijs as "Gerente General" of the flagship of the fleet of Forest Returns, Hacienda la Esperanza, 100 % owned by Vereenigde Costaricaanse Compagnie bv in Costa Rica, was elected Captain of the Year 2008.

During my last visit to Hacienda la Esperanza, Theo (as "Gerente General" through Petimpex SA) and I (as "Presidente" of La Compañia la Esperanza Internacional de Heredia S.A. through Forest Returns bv) signed a new management contract for the next three years: 2009, 2010 and 2011.
As a personal gift I will buy Theo an Arabian fiery stallion during my next visit to Costa Rica. This stallian may be the future mate of my Arabian mare "Candalilla" .
