Publication: Nyenrode University, dr. Rodria Laline
Thursday 05 March 2009 - Thanks to my membership of `Nederlands Centrum van Directeuren en Commissarissen` (NCD) and my registration in the `Commissarissenregister` I met Dr. Rodria Laline on the beautiful island of ir. Ysbrand van der Werf in Loosdrecht Lake District.
A life time experience ?
On my request Rodria became advisor on the board of directors of one of the country estates initiated by Forest Returns: Landgoed Groot Mariënbosch NV in Surinam.

Based on many mutual interests, corporate governance & sustainable entrepreneurship in particular, the co-operation became more intense. Then she became also candidate of the supervisory board of Landgoed Groot Mariënbosch NV .
Nowadays Rodria has the challenging position of Director Corporate Governance Programs of Nyenrode University in Breukelen. I told Rodria that I had given some lectures for students at Nyenrode University in the past on different topics such as:
- International Marketing Research
- Extraordinary Customer Satisfaction
- Crisis and Renewal (Prof. Dr. David K. Hearst)
- Time & Brain Management
- Sustainable Entepreneurship (with Prof. Dr. Gerard Keijzers)
Rodria invited me at her work for a `tour d`horizon`.
As Rodria showed her sincere interest concerning the noble work & vision of Forest Returns she was inaugurated as Forest Returns, Consul . Please sail to "Download" below...
Later on I introduced Rodria to one of the active consuls of Forest Returns, Mr. Dick Schakel. Dick has become chairman of one of the most active Nyenrode Alumni Assocations.
In the past I have already given some presentations to this demanding group, e.g. : about `Duurzaam Ondernemerschap`, together with Prof. Dr. Gerard Keijzers of Center for Sustainability.
The country estates, initiated by Forest Returns, can be regarded as a growing fleet of (future) sailingships, such as:
- Landgoed de Graven (More Trees Consultancy) in The Netherlands
- Hacienda la Esperanza in Costa Rica
- Landgoed Groot Mariënbosch in Surinam
- Yeşil Yaşam in Turkey
- Landgut Grün Brandenburg in Germany
...and shipyards (such as as Vereenigde Costaricaanse Compagnie).
This is one of many reasons why I feel very comfortable at the so called `Compagnie van Verre` of Nyenrode University.
